Product Details:

Aluminium silicate is a compound made from aluminum, oxygen and silicate that can take the form of a mineral as well as combine with water to make a clay. It has a hardness of 1-2 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. The refractive index of aluminium silicate is 1.56 and the density is 2.8 to 2.9 g/cm.

Applications

Manufacture of spark plugs, inks, adhesives, plastics, rubbers, board & ceiling tile coatings, catalyst / molecular sieve supports, caulks, foundry coatings, mastics, polishes, powder coatings, sealants, soaps/ detergents, specialty ceramics, and textile coatings. It is also used as an anti-caking agent.

Aluminium hydroxide is as a feedstock for the manufacture of other aluminum compounds: specialty calcined aluminas, aluminum sulfate, poly aluminum chloride, aluminum chloride, zeolites, sodium aluminate, activated alumina, aluminum nitrate.

Aluminium hydroxide also finds use as a fire retardant filler for polymer applications in a similar way to magnesium hydroxide. In addition to behaving as a fire retardant, it is very effective as a smoke suppressant in a wide range of polymers, most especially in polyesters, acrylics, ethylene vinyl acetate, epoxies, PVC, and rubber. Also used as filler in paper.

Calcined Alumina also called Aluminium Oxide possesses good thermal conductivity, heat and shock resistance, and high electrical resistivity at elevated temperatures. This combination of properties makes calcined alumina useful in abrasives, glass, porcelains, spark plugs, and electrical insulators, but the greatest quantity of calcined alumina is used to obtain aluminum.

High purity grade, Fully water soluble.Aluminium sulfate iorn free Powder is a chemical compound with the formula Al₂(SO₄)₃. It is soluble in water and is mainly used as a coagulating agent in the purification of drinking waterand waste water treatment plants, and also in paper manufacturing.
Aluminium sulfate is used in water purification and as a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles. In water purification, it causes suspended impurities to coagulate into larger particles and then settle to the bottom of the container (or be filtered out) more easily. This process is called coagulation or flocculation.

Aluminium sulfate is sometimes used to reduce the pH of garden soil, as it hydrolyzes to form the aluminium hydroxide precipitate and a dilute sulfuric acid solution.
