Usage: HEDP Na₂ is widely used in circulating cool water system, medium and low-pressure boiler, oil field water pipelines as scale and corrosion inhibitor. In other fields such as electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer, etc.. HEDP disodium salt also has excellent performance.
In woven industry, HEDP Na₂ is used as detergent for metal and nonmetal. In the dyeing industry, HEDP disodium is used as peroxide stabilizer and dye-fixing agent; in non-cyanide electroplating, HEDP Na₂ is used as a chelating agent.

Hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid (HEDP)

Physical Properties:

• Clear, colorless to pale yellow aqueous solution;
• An organic phosphonic acid corrosion inhibitor.
• HEDP can chelate and dissolve the oxidized materials from surfaces of Fe, Cu, & Zn ions to form stable chelating compounds.

Gluconic acid 50% is an organic compound with molecular formula C₆H₁₂O₇ and condensed structural formula HOCH₂(CHOH)₄COOH.

APPLICATIONS:-

Gluconic acid is its excellent chelating power, especially in alkaline and concentrated alkaline solutions. In this respect, it surpasses all other chelating agents, such as EDTA, NTA, and related compounds. Calcium, iron, copper, aluminum and other heavy metals are firmly chelated in alkaline solution and masked in such a way that their interferences are eliminated.Gluconic acid occurs naturally in fruit, honey. As a food additive (E574), it is an acidity regulator. It is also used in cleaning products where it dissolves mineral deposits, especially in alkaline solution.
